How this was worked out
- We started from 30 OpenStreetMap industrial land-use areas in Squamish, about 400 acres in total.
- We drew a 500 m buffer around the railway (104 OpenStreetMap track segments, including yards and sidings) and around Highway 99.
- We kept the industrial land that falls inside both buffers.
Limitation: OpenStreetMap shows how land is used today, not its zoning or whether it is available.
