Privacy & Data
Absolutely. Your maps, projects, and account details are private and stored securely. We never share your information.
Our data comes from credible public sources, primarily government open data portals and verified municipal databases. The accuracy of any dataset reflects the quality of its original source. If NeuraCities pulls a dataset that doesn't match what you're looking for, simply ask it to find the correct one and it will happily adjust.
We tap into public city and agency datasets—everything from infrastructure (roads, utilities) to environment (green spaces, flood maps) to amenities (schools, transit stops). If there's a specific dataset you need, drop us a line!
My Database is your own file storage inside NeuraCities. Upload files, organize them in folders, or import the layers a conversation produced with one click, and they are available in every future question. You can share any file or saved base map with chosen teammates, and they appear under the Team tab as shared with you.
Yes. Add a PostgreSQL connection with your host, database and credentials, test it, and NeuraCities can query it live in any message. Credentials are stored securely and used only for read-only queries. One question can combine a table from your database, a file from your Drive and a city's open data, and the answer cites each source.

Yes. Connect a PostgreSQL database and NeuraCities queries it live, read-only, in every message. Connect Google Drive to import files straight from your Drive, with OneDrive coming soon. For ArcGIS and QGIS, export any layer as GeoJSON, Shapefile or KML and it drops straight in.
We have extensive coverage of major cities worldwide, with particularly strong coverage across North America. Our platform can access hundreds of municipal and regional data portals. Simply provide detailed prompts—NeuraCities can often find and integrate the exact datasets you need.
Yes. Map layers export as GeoJSON, Shapefile or KML, tables as CSV, and maps and reports as PDF or PNG, so results drop straight into ArcGIS, QGIS or a slide deck.
Yes. Every conversation, map and report can be shared as a link. Anyone with the link can view it, and people with an account can leave comments right on the map or report.
Yes. Open any map in the page canvas and pick a page format such as map and title, map and panel, two maps, or map with inset. Auto-layout adds a title, findings panel, legend, scale bar and north arrow from a one-line description, and everything stays editable. Add pages, shapes, arrows, labels and images, save the deck, and export all pages as PNG, JPG, PDF or SVG.
Yes. Describe the look you want, such as dark ocean blues or vintage sepia, and NeuraCities restyles the water, land, roads and parks to match. Save it as a custom base map, apply it to any map with one click, and share it with teammates.
Solutions
It maps the canopy a city already has, works out where new trees can actually go (public land only, clear of buried pipes and existing trees), and ranks planting zones by heat, equity and canopy gap. You get a costed planting plan with grant-eligible share and a report you can share as a link. Bring a boundary and whatever data you have; NeuraCities finds the rest. See Urban Forestry.
Yes. Send scanned as-built or record drawings and NeuraCities detects each feature class, reads the callouts and attributes off the sheet, georeferences the drawing onto the live map, and exports GeoJSON and Shapefiles per feature class with attributes as CSV. Drainage sheets can also come back as a SWMM network you can run. See Digitization.
The whole storm study, start to finish. It pulls in terrain, land cover, rainfall and the city's drainage network, runs the storm events (EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS), flags which buildings and assets sit in damaging depths, then compares mitigation designs such as detention, bigger mains and green infrastructure with costs and benefit-cost ratios. Workflows & Reports
A workflow is an analysis you describe once and run any number of times. Write the instructions in plain language, wrap anything that changes each run in double braces, such as {{address}}, and each one becomes a labeled input. Run it on a typed address or a dropped pin, and every run keeps its own map, answer and history. You can also describe what you want and let NeuraCities draft the workflow for you. See Workflows.
Yes. Turn on Share as an app and you get a link. Anyone with it signs in, fills in the inputs and runs the workflow on their own account. You choose whether they can remix it into an editable copy of their own or only run it, and you can turn the link off at any time.
Yes. Click Create interactive report under any answer and NeuraCities writes it up as an article with the maps, charts and tables built in. The maps stay interactive for readers, who can pan, zoom and toggle layers. Edit any block, reorder sections, add your own text, and changes save as you go. Publish it and anyone with the link can read it without an account; unpublish it and the link stops working.

Yes! Invite colleagues to view, comment, and co-author projects. For enterprise teams, training, and unlimited usage on the Max plan, email us at contact@neuracities.com.
They get an invite, join with one click, and land in the same live conversation as you. Everyone sees the same map, anyone can ask the assistant a follow-up question, and each message shows who asked it. You can share by picking teammates, inviting by email, or copying a link.
Click Comment, drop a pin anywhere on a map, report, chart or table, and write your note. Comments can carry file attachments, teammates can reply, and anyone can resolve a thread when it is done. The pins stay on the artifact, so the discussion lives next to the thing it is about.
Yes! We just ask that you provide appropriate attribution in your work. We strongly recommend reviewing and validating results before making business-critical decisions, as with any analytical tool.
