How this was worked out
- We used the District of Squamish building footprints (2026, 7,371 buildings, of which 5,512 are residential).
- Slope was calculated from a 30 m Copernicus elevation model and sampled under each residential building.
Limitation: with a 30 m elevation grid each house gets roughly one slope value. Treat this as a screening map, not a site survey.
What it did
- Found data for zoning
- Found data for building footprints
- Found data for development permit area
- Found data for DPA
